A quick update

Ok, so last night's episode was fabulous, but of course it left me with many more questions. I don't have time to address them all right now, so I'll just address one.

Why hasn't Richard aged?
I'm gonna stick with my Eden theory on this and say that maybe he found the Tree of Life and ate from it and became immortal. In the Bible, God kicked Adam and Eve out of Eden before they could eat from it, so since no one ever ate from it, we don't know exactly what it does or what would happen.
Another theory I had is that the island affects aging, perhaps in connection with the healing powers. To do a quick 180 from lost, I'm thinking of the first X-Men movie, when Jean Grey says that it's difficult to tell Logan's age because of his mutant healing powers. Maybe the healing powers of the island have a similar effect. Maybe this only applies to people who were born there.
Also, in Genesis, people supposedly lived a lot longer. Adam lived for over 900 years, so maybe the same thing goes on the island. I doubt it though, since Adam didn't live out his life in Eden. I'm gonna go with Tree of Life or healing powers on this one.
